At the NYPC Foundation, we are committed to supporting the full journey of cancer care by addressing the critical patient needs that extend beyond the clinical setting. Our mission is to ensure more patients and families can access the life-changing and life-saving benefits of proton therapy and fund groundbreaking research and education programs that will impact the future of cancer treatment.
Patient Assistance
We help ease the financial burden of cancer treatment by providing financial assistance to patients undergoing proton beam therapy at the New York Proton Center. These funds support non-clinical expenses such as transportation, lodging, and meals—particularly for those who must travel far from home to receive this advanced treatment. The NYPC Foundation also funds patient care and support services for adults and children who are currently receiving treatment.
Research Advancement
We fund innovative research initiatives focused on proton therapy to drive scientific breakthroughs and improve outcomes for patients. By supporting cutting-edge studies in radiation oncology and medical physics, we are able to push the boundaries of what’s possible in cancer treatment and make a difference in the lives of adult and pediatric patients around the world.
Education & Awareness
We promote greater understanding of proton beam therapy through training and education programs for healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers. Our goals are to equip more healthcare providers with knowledge of proton therapy and to strengthen the community of support around those facing cancer.
