Annual Golf Tournament Raises $50,000 to Support New York Proton Center Patients

November 19, 2025

Funds will support patients receiving proton radiation therapy with non-clinical expenses  including travel, lodging, housing, and co-pays.

Kenilworth, NJ — October 17, 2025 — The New York Proton Center (NYPC) and the BR+A Charitable Foundation celebrated the success of their third annual golf tournament, held on October 9 at the Galloping Hill Golf Course, raising $50,000 for the NYPC Foundation. Funds will support the Forward Together program at the New York Proton Center to help patients access non-clinical financial support during treatment, allowing them to focus on healing without the added burden of financial stress.

The Forward Together platform, powered by the WiTT Group, Inc., provides an easy way for patients to seek and receive help with everyday expenses during their treatment such as transportation, lodging, groceries, and co-pays. Available in English and Spanish, Forward Together allows patients to easily share their needs with friends, family and, if desired, the broader community. More than 250 patients have participated in Forward Together since the program’s launch in 2023.

“This tournament showcases the strength of our community coming together to make a tangible difference,” said Christopher Panczner, CEO of the New York Proton Center. “At NYPC we deliver cutting-edge proton therapy, but true care extends beyond treatment. These funds empower patients to navigate their cancer  journey with dignity and less worry about day-to-day expenses”.

The NYPC Foundation extends its gratitude to all golfers, sponsors and volunteers who made the event a success.
