Annual Pediatric Holiday Toy Drive Yields Nearly $2,500 in Toy Donations

New York, NY — January 20, 2026 — The NYPC Foundation’s annual Pediatric Holiday Toy Drive raised nearly $2,500 in toy donations for children receiving cancer treatment at the New York Proton Center (NYPC).

Thanks to the generosity of employees, patients, visitors, and community supporters during December, NYPC’s Child Life program will give a toy of nominal value to every pediatric patient. Children receive toys to celebrate special occasions during their proton therapy treatment, including holidays, birthdays, and their last-day-of-treatment.

The New York Proton Center’s Child Life program, available to all pediatric patients and their families, helps reduce anxiety about proton therapy radiation treatment.
