“Pilates With Purpose” Raises $4,750 for NYPC Foundation

August 3, 2026

New York, NY – August 3, 2026 – The NYPC Foundation is grateful to everyone who helped make Pilates With Purpose a sold-out success, raising $4,750 to support patients receiving proton therapy at the New York Proton Center.

The July 24 event, held at the beautiful Canoe Place Inn in Hampton Bays, was organized by Leisa Taylor, a Pilates instructor and former NYPC patient. Inspired by her own cancer journey, Leisa brought together a community of supporters for a morning of movement, wellness, and generosity.

Funds raised through Pilates With Purpose will help provide patients with transportation, lodging, and other non-clinical support during proton therapy treatment. By easing these financial and logistical burdens, the NYPC Foundation helps ensure patients can focus on what matters most—healing.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Leisa and everyone who participated, donated, and supported this inspiring event. Together, you are making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.
